I've experimented successfully the use of the HIERARCHY statement to manage a simple parent-child chart of accounts. I'm started from a SQL table with already all amounts in play and so not from a tree data structure.
I think that could be very useful to have a general template for chart of accounts in order to standardize the working with QV. This template should be rapidly suitable to manage the chart of accounts of an ERP.
I have tried to search a kind of template, but I have found nothing.
