Unable to access AccessPoint after installing QV8.5

Hi fellow experts!

My qlikview AP URL automatically redirects me to a login page:

Namely: http://qlikviewXX/accesspoint/default.aspx redirects me to http://qlikviewXX/accesspoint/login.aspx

However I am not able to provide any user/pw combination that allows me to pass to the AP Page that shows me the QV Applications.

Using QV 8.5 on Serevr2008 R2.

So, what am I missing here? Any ideas?

Since you upgraded your software, make sure you are using the 8.5 plug-in only. If you are trying to access with earlia plug-in, it amy not work. Or else, un-install earliar plug-in and install latest one.

I did not upgrade. Just installing a new server on a more powerful machine (and different OS 2008 R2 instead 2003 R2). I installed the 8.5 Plugin already. But as I get the very same redirection with Firefox, I doubt it has anything to to with the plugin.

Furthermore, IMHO the plugin will not be used at all before I open a document from the AP, but my issue is that I can't even connect to this AP.

Or does the plugin already handle the Logon implicitly?

Please check the URL at server level.... go to management console > web servers

Error: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage !

This URL does not seem to exist. #

It is not reachable on the "Live" system either.What is this supposed to do?

Are you aware that we are still on QV 8.5? Probably this URL is a post 8.5 service?!
