Hi,

I have a requirement which may sound simple.. but I am not able to get it right...

Below in my data:

id	loc	time	code	text	number
123	abc	2:00 PM	12	dfg	1
123	abc	11:30 PM	45	dxf	2
123	abc	4:00 AM	33	xcvbn	3
123	abc	3:30 PM	67	vb n	4
123	abc	1:00 PM	98	bnh	5

and the format in which i need it is:

text1

number1

time1

code2

loc1

loc2

id3

loc3

draggin the blue line gave me 4 different rows... any ideas please..

Hi, create three dimensions in your pivot (id, loc and number). And then pivot the number-dimension up over your expressions; code, text and time. Regards, Sander

thank you.. this is how i wanted it but sorry to ask another question, if i do not want number field in the table.. then what is the alternative?

Hi, you need a unique key here. Skipping 'number' means that you'll have to define another id. Else revert back to a plain table box. Regards, Sander
