I am trying to configure the Mail Server of Qlikview via QEMC and still shows error.

Please see attached for the part I am trying to configure.

Additional info:

We have a Qlikview publisher and Qlikview server.

We have Microsoft Exchange. Also link to web outlook (OWA).

Email alert and notification fails to run

If you look at your screen shot you will see you answer in red. Your server requires a secure connection and QlikView does not support that. You will need to user an unsecure connection to send messages or use a tunnelling tool to do it.

also, the error statement:

The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated
