8/29/2012 4:20:09 PM: Execution finished.
After the above, I get a message that the script failed to reload and then I get the option to reload my old data. Why would the reload fail after the script completed execution?
I cannot share the file itself because it contains sensitive data that I'm not allowed to distribute according to company policy. There are some rediculously complicated pivot tables in this file, so I'm afraid that their complexity is causing the issue preventing the reload. Also this file is
Try rebooting Qlikview. If not, reboot your PC. This was helpful for me many times.
R u creating a QVD to store this??
It often happens when you use Store directive and some error happens during file opperation.
I'm loading from a QVD, but there is no store operation in this script. The store operation happens in another QVW file that happens to load the same data. This QVW is an offshoot of the original larger file that performs the rather compicated task of projecting the weeks of supply of our stock. I seperated it out from the larger file because it was slowing down the performance of the original file. I'm loading from the QVD with a where clause to limit the amount of data this file has to work with because it only needs roughly 53 weeks of data (everything from last week to a year from now) and there are roughly 6 years worth of data in the QVD file. I thought that by limiting the data set, I could improve the performance of this QVW and eliminate the triggered date autoselection.

Most often this happens when loading or writing to a QVD file that is locked in some way.
It can also happen when an OleDB och ODBC connection failed and the thread running the connection is locked in the background.
Try closing all QlikView applications and start it up again.
Turns out that when I upgraded to a newer service pack for QlikView, it solved the problem entirely. Thanks for the help.
Since then, I have realized that I placed the InputFields in a table that was joined afterward. That is a no-no and probably caused my issue. I likely resolved it without knowing I did when the upgrade happened.
