Windows 2008 Server R2 install problem

A few days'm trying to install Qlikview Server on Windows 2008 R2 without success.

I'm using:

A clean installation of Windows Server 2008 R2;

All Windows Updates;

Dotnet Framework 4.5;

I install Qlikview Server 11 and all services start up, but in the service management console appears qvs down.

The user is running Qlikview Administrators group;
The firewall is turned off;

I tried using localhost and the number of ip;

Already tested versions 10 and 9.

Nothing solved the problem.

In the Event Viewer the errors reported are:

"Failed to retrieve settings from QlikView Server" and "Failed to retrieve document list from the specified QVS"

Have I contacted the support of QlikView in Brazil, but no one could solve.

You should ask them to escalate the issue or have a webex to go throught the server settings.

Already done that and have not solved the problem. Any idea?

There is something unusual we're missing, might be a local policy or something.

Make sure you add the policy "run as a service" or "run as part of the operating system" in the server policies.

I formatted the machine, installed. dotnet framework 4.5 and installed the latest version of QlikView Server (11.11282.0).
Do not put the machine in the domain, and started the service as Administrator.
So it was possible to insert the license.
Then, I joined the machine in the domain and ran the services with the user qlikview@domain.

Now everything worked, but I do not know what was causing the problem.

Delton,

Do you have the case number that was assigned to your case with support? If so can you email it to me?

I have no number.

I researched a bit more about the problem and discovered that the root problem is the time of my virtual machine. She was wrong, what the DNS did not work properly. I adjusted the server time and everything was fine.
