download data from frontend while reloading

Dears,

I have a QV licence but not QV Publisher. I need a simple front-end table to be downloaded (to qvd, csv, whatever) while the report is automatically refreshed (by task). Is that possible at all? Many thanks for help

If you use a 'Send to Excel' in a chart, doesn't it solve your need?

No because I want it to be downlaoded when reloading the report. But i think I found a solution using a VBA macro to downlaod data to excel.

Hi,

If you can reproduce your report in a table in script, you can store it in a csv.

If your table is called 'Report' at the end of the script you can use the following command:

Store Report into Report.csv (csv) ;

//You can drop your report if it is not necessary:

drop table Report ;
