Licence Lease Issue

Hi All,

I am trying to lease a licence on a qlikview desktop but its not working.

When i use Open in Server option from Qlikview desktop the it prompts

for the password and after that it opens a window which shows a folder name

with name IP of Server on which QVServer is installed. But licence is not getting

applied on the Qv Desktop.

Any Ideas why this is happening?

                U r luking into the correct tab if u want to assign cals for Power Users....

                 To assign cals for Specific Application u nid to follow diz-  QMC - Document Tab - then click on the application on left side u want to assign cals - then go to Document Cals tab  and do the required.

But I'm willing to create "Power user" only.

I have Named User Cals on the server and I dont know how to lease them.

Can any one help me in assigning these CALs to users using QMC?

jst assign users id tatz it like d one u did....

if itz nt getting assigned u nid to check d id u inputed is correct o nt....

I didn't assign that user, someone else did. Now I want to assign users by myself.

Can you help me how to do that?

i thing licence-> Assigned Cal

there is user icon below dropdown

click on that icon and type the username you want to assign

click  ok

Thanks for replying.

I went to that tab but it seems there is no user to search. Default scope drop down has only one option "All directories". Next as you can see in the image above I have a named user "madhu", I cant search this user in the search aswell(PFA). There are no users. What is wrong? How do I get users here?

in serch for user and group

you can type usernam and click on serach button inside that text box

it will list you user in serch result then you can add it by clicking add button.

and then click ok

and check then
