Making different color Bars when plotting 2 Dimensions and 2 Measures

Hi,

I need an urgent help. I have a graph which was plotting SALES against Year (Y-Axis) and Week #(X-Axis) all years were coming in different colors. Now the requriement is to add another measure to the same graph which is Target. I have used Combo Graph with Sales as Bar and Target as Line.

Graph plots perfectly except that the all the Bars are same colors even for different Years. Multicolored box is grayed(disabled).

Please advice urgently

On the expression tab of the chart. Use the plus-sign next to the expression to display more options for the expression. There you can set a "background color" (bar color in this case) for different values.

Hope that helps!

Hi,

I have the very same problem. Do you think you could publish a image of your chart to see how the end result look like ?

That would really help me !

Thanks !

Did you ever find out why the Multicolored check box was disabled? I'm having a similar problem - I want to disable multicolored bars but can't uncheck the option.

Any help you can offer is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim
