Container issues with SR2 release 2

I have a series of containers on a report which are minimised or restored in turn by a button. After installing QV11 SR2 release 2 (in order to fix serious issues for me with images disappearing, unable to open the accesspoint on IE8, AND slow performance with exporting to excel using conditional dimensions) all my containers either shrink their normal size to 5 x 5 or fail to calculate the graph object inside them.

Using Windows XP & IE 8 plugin. I'm getting very concerned with QlikTech's level of quality control - recently there seems to be major issues with each release. Are they just not testing on XP / IE8 anymore?

I have found the exact same issue but using Windows2008 server.

This appears in the QV developer application, a while after upgrading to v11 SR2 build 11440.

Did you find a solution to this problem?

Hi, no I've assumed it's another bug so I've re-installed a previous build which fixes the problem for me. Haven't been able to check if it's logged with Qliktech yet however...

I wanted to update this post as the issue has been identified by QlikTech as a bug 55922.

In our case it appears when moving from version 11.00.11426 to version 11.00.11440.

A workaround is to set the “Shadow Intensity” option on the container layout properties, to anything other than "No Shadow".

You will still need to set the size and position of the container but it should now keep them when you save the document.
