I am using QV 10 SR 4. I have QV SAP connector installed and it is working fine. now business demand is to add an other SAP system as datasource. My question is do i need one more QV sap connector license for new SAP source system. or i can use exisitng one. mean i will move the required TR to new SAP Datasource.
you indeed dont need another license, connect with the SAP system with Client and System no. using the same connector. though you need to install transports again on the new SAP system and a new QV SAP user to connect with SAP.
if you installed SAP connector in one system , it can extract data from N number of destination system whether it's SAP R/3 or SAP BW . it does not make matter.
but you can not use one sap license for multiple SAP connector installation.
