I have Curosity regarding how we will deploy an application to 1000 Sales Rep using QVS

HI,

I was trying to get an idea as one of our clients asked for it.

If we have 1000 Sales Reps and one application, then what kind of licensing model should we prefer.

Would it be better to use concurrent License lets say each license for every 10 users? Or should we buy 1000 Document CALs?

In both the cases price is getting too high.

Well, as usual, it depends. If you expect to have high concurrency then document CALs will of course be preferable, if not session CALs (concurrent) will be better.

But with session CALs you might want to consider also add Usage CALs so people won't be kept out waiting in peak usage times, like monday morning or right before month closure.

I'm sorry but that is something you need to discuss with your local QlikView salesman, there are other alternatives but you need to discuss those with them.
