QVS become unlicensed

Hi,

We are having 5 QVS Cluster in our environment and sometimes our one of the particular QVS is showing unlicensed inside services of QMC due to which reports are not opening in accesspoint. We have found cal.pgo becomes zero size and all assigned leased users were not available in QMC. Also reporting folder is automatically moved in root folder.

Fix : Remove the unlicensed QVS from QMC and add after sometimes then it will work.

Anybody has experienced the same or any suggestion ?

Version : SR2 (11.0.11453.0409.10) and windows 8.

*There is no issue with License.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Arunesh

Windows 8 is not a support OS for QlikView at this time.

I understand that. But you are stating the issue you are seeing is with Windows 8.

Assuming this isn't due the OS (as Bill says Windows 8 is not supported) then....

I would be question where your Document Root is.  Is it local to the machine or on a Share somewhere?  Note that for the document folders we *only* support either local storage or a "true" Windows share hosted on another Windows server.

I have version 11.20.12904.0 and the same problem.

I think I've fixed in this way:

  • Access QMC
  • Click on System -> Licenses - Qlik View Server License
  • Then click on "Update License From Server"
  • Then Apply

Now on "Status" -> "Services" you should see everything is ok and running.

It's worked for me: hope the same for you.

Bye!
