How to: transform cumulative ytd sales to sale per month in script
The sales data that I have been given are cumlative ytd. I.e. the data for jan are the actual sales dat for jan, but the data for february represent the cumulative sales from the start of the year until february. I am looking for a way to transform this to sales per month in the script. Does anybody have a suggestion?
The solution depends on the structure of the source data - for example a single database table or multiple spreadsheets. I suggest that you explain this in a little more detail and if possible, post some sample data here for more assistance
