Dynamic selection a field

Hai Everyone,

I have these fields Companyname,Employeename,Sales,Quantity,Year.

Now I want to create a list box from which I want to select Companyname,Employeename,another listbox I want to select Sum(sales),Sum(quantity)

and generate a dashboard for the different year 2007,08,09.

So we have to  give the flexibilty for the end user to select sum(sales) or sum(quantity) of company name or Employee and display the results in the dasboard.

is it possble.

can anyone of you have idea.

Maybe you are looking for Conditional Display of dimensions and expressions? You have an example at the application Whats New in QV 11.qvw, in the Report sheet. This way, you can show or hide the elements based on whatever condition you like.
