Backup of Publisher tasks

Hello

Is it possible to backup the tasks of pusblisher?

For instance, In a case where you need to move the tasks to new server how can someone avoid re-creating them?

Or how a restore operation could be made?

The scenario assumes xml files.

Thank you

DA

The QVPR directory is where that is stored at XML files are stored. You will find that under C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService

The problem with moving this to a new server is that the server name is reference in these files.

OK. Clear.

But restoring the folder on the same machine, will it work?

Yes, that would work. You would need to stop all the QlikView services first.
