Can't get the QVWS and DSC service to run properly

Hi,

I have all the QV services in windows to run as normal domain user, all QV services are started. IN the QVMC it tells me the DSC and QVWS are disconnected. If I use my own AD account to run the QV services, everything works properly.

The account (not my own account) I'm using is in local administrator account and the local QV administrator account the server and I've logged on and off serveral times.

How can I start troubleshooting this, QV is new to me!

If the DSC is having issues with a local account, it might mean that you AD requires an AD account to do a query. Check with you IT department.

Do you want to change the Qlikview services' account?

Which account would you like to use for starting the services? local or AD?

I had the service account in the wrong OU
