Hanging Jobs in Publisher 8.5

Hi,

Frequently Iam finding that there are many jobs hanging in the Publisher Controlpanel in status "1>task(s) failed - Sending alertmail..." . We are using Publisher 8.5.

Could anyone know the reason why this happens? Any suggestions on this. Restarting the service releases this message.

Do the reloads fail when run manually?

Is the email configured?

Yes. The email has been configured. Only after restarting the service, this message goes off.
