URL Link

Hi, experts,

I tried to embed the url links which define the following points in the straight table chart and perform this document, but cannot access these URLs via the Ajax client. (desktop is OK)

- Network shared folder  ex.) ='Qlikview' & '<url>\\JPTOK-TIA\Demo\MicrosoftExchangeSetting.pdf'

- local folder ex.) = 'Qlikview' & '<url>c:\Demo\MicrosoftExchangeSetting.pdf'

Does anyone know about the reason and workaround this?

Target version is QV11.

Thanks in advance,

Takashi from Japan

Thank you for your response.

Yes, I had tried in IE plugin and succeeded to jump to the link (URL) and open the document which is stored in network folder.

When I use AJAX client, I click the link, but nothing is happened.

I guess it's because you're trying to access local files.

Hi,

For all "external" content, I now use the MinimalisticHTML extension object.

You can find it here: http://www.qlikblog.at/1579/qliktip-39-displaying-html-content-minimalistic-htmltextbox-object-exten...

Good luck.

Hi Takashi,

You'll need to set the type as link in display options then it will work in AJAX mode. Please refer the screenshot below:Untitled.png
