QV Server upgrade and QV SAP Connector

Hi all,

I am planning an upgrade of QlikView Server and Publisher (from version 9 to 11), but on the server the QlikView SAP Connector (version 5.5) also resides. Can I leave the QlikView SAP Connector as is or do I have to reinstall (or even upgrade) it after the Server/Publisher upgrade?

During the upgrade proces I uninstalled QlikView Server version 9 and installed QlikView Server version 11. I did not touch the QlikView SAP Connecter installation.

Afterwards I tested some QlikView documents which make use of the QlikView SAP Connector and everything worked fine. So during a QlikView Server upgrade you can leave your QlikView SAP Connector installation as is.

I could see 5.70 is the latest SAP connector. May be latest one give you better performance than the older.

Thank you for the suggestion. We also thought about upgrading the QV SAP Connector to the latest version (5.70), but the old version still worked fine and we didn't experience any performance problems so we decided to leave it as is.
