I have a qvw that takes a long time to save and eats up multiple times more RAM when it saves vs when it's running. in some cases i can't save it even with 16 GB of RAM when the file is only 500mb on disk or 4 GB while in RAM.
When I reduce data (remove all possible values) and try to save, it still can take anywhere from 10 seconds to a few mins.
i did notice a few tables / charts that take long to calc and take up a decent amount of RAM but i can't figure out how to reduce this and they are faily simple pivot tables and one is just a plain table with no calculations.I'm looking for common practices for reducing calc time/ save time/ any other best practices for performance?
