IF AND Color Expression

I have a pivot table and I am trying to create an if statement with the Background Color of an expression where a value triggers a RGB color.

My problem is one set of values is greater then say 60% but less then 80%  so it then applies a RGB. I have tried a number of IF AND expressions but I can not get it to work, very frustrating for what should be a simple if statement. Can any one help?

Hi Sushil, that worked a treat, (though oddly I had tried a similar expression) so thanks.

I have another question my pivot table has 2 dimensions, a horizontal MthYr and a vertical SectorType. The SectorType has the 'Show Parial Sum' ticked in Presentation but the Total does not respond to color expression, any ideas why?

Hi Sushil,

The attached qvw shows;

1. A table with my expression where the TOTAL does not respond to the if

color condition.

2. A table with a version of your expression where TOTAL only returns Green

no matter what condition is met.

I was trying to get both the Sector Dimension data and the TOTAL by

MonthYr to respond correctly to the IF Color Conditions.

it is responding to the if condition.. try to change the condition in if condition it will change accordingly..

the problem here is in the total it is satisfying the if condition to have the green color.

Thanks right now I can not see how to change/add into the condition to get

TOTAL to respond correctly.
