Can an assigned cal to use a client taking a lease of same license ??

I have two web users with a assigned cal. they have a personal edition on client pc,

but if you connect to the server do not take the license lease......why??

Hi,

First, Named User CAL license leasing must be enabled in the QMC, License, QlikView Server, Client Access Licenses (CALs), "Allow License Lease".

Then, they do not have to have any other session open agains the QlikView Server (viewing documents in Ajax or Plugin).

Third, they should specify their credentials and the server in the Start page, Open in Server, "Show Options >>", "Log On as Specified User".
