User Documents not expanding

Hello,

Has anyone experienced this?

On our Test server (never happens on the Prod server),  the User Documents "+" sometimes does not expand to display the document list.

When you click on the +, it just gives you the "nothing in here" period.

I "fix" it by restarting all QV services.

Once I do that, it's sometimes good for a couple weeks, and sometimes it stops expanding after hours and goes away four or five times a day.

Rebooting the server does the same thing as restarting the services.

I'm tired of getting email from users saying "test is broken", and going in and restarting services, so any advice/thoughts would be appreciated.

It's a mystery to me...

No idea, but maybe you could run a bat file each night to restart all the QV services to minimise the occurance? As it's only the Test box...;-)

Yep, I thought about that, and will resort to it if I can't figure out why it's happening. Thanks Jason.

Hi, I have the same problem in a QV-Cluster. Have you found a fix?

Hi,

I did set up a bat file to restart services nightly.

Then after we went to 11.2, I stopped the restart job, and it hasn't happened since.

Thx, for this fast info.

We use 11.2SR1, hopfully SR2 update will fix it if i found no other way.
