I have a really old version of the SAP OLAP Connector (4.0). I installed and then when i tried to connect there was a serial number request. I put the correct information... but there's no way to connect. When i select in the Custom Data Source the QvSAPOLAPConnector and Connect, nothing happens.
OLAP connector doesn't require any transports, uses SAP native's OLAP engine, but when installing transports it is good to install the same version of the front end (ie windows part)
Agree. Currently there is no seperate transport for SAP B/W but still you have to overwrite data extraction and user profile transport in SAP Environment for connector version upgradetion.
