QVD Architecture.

Can anybody tell me what is the architecture Qlikview follows to store data in QVD's

When it is about QVDs, Get the data from the datasource and using STORE command, store it into QVDs.

Hi,

QVD is actually a compressed data when ever the QVD is created with the STORE command the data is 10% compressed with compared to the actual data. Data is stored into the QVD with qlikview understandable data format with number, text and dates formats.
