Diference between Conditionals

Hello community.

Can tell me, what is the difference between the conditional of the presentation tab and the conditional dimension or expression.

Thanks

One of the first differences, particularly for the visualization through AJAX is the ability to manipulate the visualization, to show / hide selected columns in the previous version before the 11th QV could not handle, from version 11 is possible to manipulate this view.

But the most important point, especially when required to use conditioning to show / hide multiple columns, is in the performance.

It is much faster if applied model of viewing conditions on the PRESENTATION tab, if the same will apply in the EXPRESSIONS tab.

This only applies to single tables, not so in the pivoting

The conditional in presentation tab will just hide the column from being shown.

The conditional in dimension / expression tab will exclude the dimension / expression from the calculation.

(thus, e.g. for a conditional dimension, will change the grouping of your data, while the presentation thing will not).
