publisher rewriting original document

Hello

My task ir reload and distribute.

Publisher task is doing by two steps:

1.Load file

Reload data

Save file (overwrite original file)

2. load the same file (reloaded and with data)once more time

distribute.

Don't understand why publisher is rewriting my original file as I say to publisher to distribute to different location.

Other members workaround is:

"So following msheraton's workaround I added an external task to copy a reduced Qlikmart on top of the existing file just before reloading"

My original source file is without data and after first reload it becomes "fat".

Is this situation of bug series or it is by design or it can be resolved in configuration ?

Thanks

It's by design that the source file will be overwritten by the Reload.

hello

QVS folder (Root folder) let's say is C:\ONE.(QMC-SYSTEM-SETUP-QLIKVIEW SERVERS-FOLDERS).

My original document isn't here.

Source folder for QDS is different : let's say C:\TWO (QMC-SYSTEM-SETUP-DISTRIBUTION SERVICES-GENERAL-SOURCE FOLDERS-PATH). There is my original file.

and

reloaded document is distributed to different folder let's say C:\THREE (QMC-DOCUMENTS-SOURCE DOCUMENTS-TASK-DISTRIBUTE-MANUALLY-DISTRIBUTE TO FOLDER_PATH)

Thanks
