Accesspoint doesn't handle funnelchart object right

After making a funnel chart in de QV developer and loading this up to a accesspoint server 8.5, the data within the chart are presented twice.

We have two servers on which I publish the same .qvw document. On server A it the funnel chart shows the same expressions twice and on server B the expressions are shown righht, thus once.

Differences?
1) Server A = 32 bit, Server B = 64 bit

On both servers QV version 8.5 is installed.

What causes this strange effect?

Please see attached screenhots in this MS word document:

Installing version 8.5 SR4 fixed the problem. As you said, there is a funnel chart difference between SR4 and SR5.

Thanks alot!

The charts when using the plugin client are rendered in the client (ajax and java clients get bitmaps rendered on the server) so one explanation could be that its different versions of the client.

I also believe we did some changes to how Numbers/Text on Data Point is handled in the 8.5 SR5 release so a combination of SR5 server with earlier client might produce this effect.

Thanks for your answer.

According to the different release versions (SR3 and SR4 vs. SR5) I can ty a new installation of SR 3 or SR 4 on the server where it doesn't work well.

What excacly has changed in SR5 in the way Numbers/Text on Data Point is handled?

8.5 included basically a complete rewrite of how Numbers/Text on Data Point is draw (mostly to support the numbers inside segments), and the drawing of them were moved from being a separate pass after drawing all bars/lines/symbols into being part of the drawing of each datapoint.

What we tried to do in SR5 was to get back to much of the behaviour of 8.2 and earlier versions as well as to treat Numbers/Text on Data Point as only 1 setting using the one appropriate for the situation (in porperties if you check one the other will be checked also). However the latter will cause older clients to interpret the settings to show both when used with a SR5 server.
