Create Bookmark in spite of lacking associated data

Is there a way to add bookmarks even though there is currently no associated data?

Background: In my "monitoring application" I would like to create some rather complex bookmarks for specific constellations I need to observe from time to time.

The problem: my current data set contains some - but not all - of those constellations. I can't manage to create bookmarks for those "missing constellations".

Create a test data set that contains all the constellations. That data set can be very small since all you need only to be able to do is make selections in some fields. Load that test set into your document and create the bookmarks. Then load the real data again.
