Installation Qlikview server + publisher + desktop

Hi,

I have installed Qlikview server, publisehr and Desktop in three VMs.

I have managed to get license lease for Desktop from Server which has installed in another VM.

Can any one help me how to provide link between Server and publisher which are in two different VMs?

And to schedule tasks in publisher, do I need to install Dektop also along with publisher?

I'm having the same issue I have the server and publisher and seperate boxes.

How did you get them to communicate.  In my QMC there is no option for Distribution.

Hi,

To provide communication between server and publisher, in Publisher QMC change server name.

In Publisher QMC General tab, change server name as per name which has been mentioned in Server QMC

System-->setup-->Management Service-->QlikView Server-->QVS@..........-->General Tab-->Name
