Hello,

Has anybody ever received error message "SQL State:S1C00 Optional feature not implemented" while querying a database using ODBC? My data pull has been working fine, I haven't made any changes on the server side, then all of a sudden this pops up and QV is refusing to connect to the database at all. Any suggestions?

I think it's due to data type used in the database or table you are querying. Are you querying table field with navchar type? Try changing it to somethign else.

And if you are connecting to MSSQL try using OLEDB instead. My experience has been better with OLEDB - faster and reliable.

Oddly enough, it seems to be working now. I don't get it, I tried it for almost 2 hours and it kept failing with the same error message, now it just randomly decides to start working again. I wish I could understand why but I am happy that it is at least working now.
