Failed to contact distributionservice

Hello ,

We currently have the problem: Tasks are not getting triggered

We have the same error as described in: http://community.qlik.com/message/353617#353617

1. 1. We tried to resolve by replacing the QVPR folder files in management service with the backup files.

( available in C:\Programdata\qliktech\managementservice\QVPR.

the backup files will be in C:\Programdata\qliktech\managementservice\QVPR\backup  )

1. 2. we already have changed the chunksize of file:  from 100 to 20.  (did this already on 29-8-2012)
2. 3. we have rebooted the server

Hi,

Is something else using port 4720? If you try to open  http://proqviewhq-01:4720/QDS/Service in browser what happens?

In the management service if you change http://proqviewhq-01:4720/QDS/Service to http://localhost:4720/qds/service does it work?

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the respons, but fortunately it was fixed already by lowering the chunksize to 10. Hopefully it will continue to work.

By the way, I did try what you asked and the browser showed a xml script.
