QDS running, but Apps are not getting distributed!!!

Hi All,

In my QMC, I can see that the QDS service is up and running fine. But whenever I am reloading the app automatically through QMC, it gets rfreshed successfully but unable to distribute to the desired location (Access Point folder). Earler it was working fine, but suddenly it has started showing this behaviour.

I have also restarted the QDS services on the machine installed, but no help.

I am attaching my QMC settings here as well.

Could anyone help me out in this matter please? It will be appreciated.

Hi,

It seems that the QDS is not allowed to upload documents in one or more servers. Check the QMC, System, Setup, QlikView Servers, Documents, "Allow Document Upload"

Hi,

The task logs should show you where the distribution is failing. For the sake of clarity, create a distribution only task and run it manually using the "play" button in the QMC. Check the log and get back to us with the error.

By the way, is there any chance that the shared folder is no longer available, or permissions have changed, or password for the account running services has been changed?

You need to enable Allow Document Upload for QlikView Server.
This is done under Document tab for QlikView Server settings in QMC

Hi,

Allowing to download documents will permit users to not only see the QVWs in the AccessPoint using Ajax or the IE Plugin, but to download locally all the file to their computers.

Note that this is not possible in iOS or Android devices, but you can use the QlikView for iOS app instead.
