Where can i get installation package of Qlikview Extranet server and IAS Server?

Hi,

     I have to do an installation of Qlikview Extranet server and IAS server.Can anyone please tell me where can I find the installation packages of these?In the software downloads I can see only qlikview server, so is the installation package same and the difference is in the Licenses?

That is correct. The license is what determines what features you have.

So the steps I do is:

1. Download the latest server installation from qlik.com

2. Install it accordingly and then apply the license(here lets say extranet server)

3. So now the server is extranet server

I am still learning about servers , so my questions might be vague.

Basically I have to setup three servers, SBE, IAS and extranet. I have two domains public and private.In public I have two systems. I have installed SBE on the private domain and then the extranet on one of the systems in public domain.My next step is to install IAS on the remaining system in public domain.

      Could please say some general tips and steps which I should be following and how to test everything is OK with these servers?

Hello,

A customer wants a solution for publish a Qlikview Document on Internet. I know that it is possible with the Internet Access Server, but I have read that this kind of server doesn't support neither named or document CAL licensing.

My question is, how this costumer could develop his own documents if he can't lease a license from this server?

Should them use Qlikview Personal Edition?... Should them buy a Qlikview Small Bussiness or Enterprise Edition in order to manage license leasing?

The account manager for the customer would be the best person to contact for this information.

Ask them to look into getting Qlikview Extranet Server (QES). That is specially made for external users.
