I can no longer tell how many people have viewed a post or how many people have replied. This was the data that I used to decide to view and possible try to answer a post.
Michael,
I also tend to find the old layout easier to use, but maybe we just need some time (hopefully not too long), to get used to the new one.
I think you can get a quite similar view by using
http://community.qlik.com/community/discussion-forums/content?start=20
(Not the thumbnail view, but the list view). AFAIR, we used to see also the latest commenter, not only the OP, something I do miss a little.
I am still missing my bookmarks, as far as I've understood the help, they [edit: should, but don't] show up by clicking in the search box (not that intuitive). But there is also missing the link to create new bookmarks when viewing a post.
Are they showing for you when you search?
They do not show when I do.
I hope they will be able to restore them, as this was a library for me
This is really unfortunate...
Hello Michael-
Thanks for your feedback, there are a couple of options available for you-
When your in a forum such as App Development-
We added the Unanswered questions tab so you could more easily find questions that need your expertise and assistance.
In addition if you go to the Content tab within the community you can see activity and sort the content more easily.
I hope this helps. I'm also working on a blog post right now addressing questions around activity streams and how they will benefit the members.
Best Regards, Sara
I am still looking around, but it seems that my above mentioned view is not showing all content and not the most recent content - it seems to be filtered somehow.
If I use this instead, it seems I get a better updated view:

I actually like the new forum, especially the Input box that's immediately accessible!
It took me a while to find the number of answers, because I'm, too, using it to spot questions that are waiting for answers. As people pointed out before me, it's available in the list view of Discussions.
Sara Leslie - as a suggestion for improvements, maybe we need one more tab with "Questions with no replies". Unless I misunderstood it, "Unanswered questions" would include questions that received some replies but were never marked as "Answered" - that category is just too wide...
just my two cents...
Hi
I'm new to this forum and already I ask "Why did you see the need to change from the previous version?" The previous version gave me a lot of info, most importantly the "My Stuff" gave me a quick view of my questions posted.
So far I have not found an easy link to my last question, not sure I can honestly say this new version is particularly friendly to use!
Regards
Paul
@Paul - we are all creatures of habit... I've seen numerous changes to this forum, ever since its inception, and it my opinion, this is the best engine ever. Now, if you are missing the old "My stuff" section, open "Content" and notice the filters on the left side, and you will see choices like "Authored", "Participated", "Following", "Recently Viewed" - this is like "My stuff" on steroids! I admit, everything moved and everything takes a bit to get used to, but I find it to be much more convenient than it was before.
Now, I'm surprised by your question in bold letters "Why did you see the need to change from the previous version?" If we were all acting based on that, we'd still be running our old 8-bit XT computers with DOS 1.0. Any technology, if not upgraded, becomes stale and boring - isn't that obvious? The old site was getting too old and too boring, and the new site is much more modern - both in functionality and in visual appeal. I'd say - right on, Sara Leslie!
Bookmark button appeared today. This is a good step forward.
My old bookmarks still don't appear. My new ones do.
Thanks
I have to agree. It looks very nice, but I find it harder to read. And harder to find some things.
