Oracle connectivity issue

Hi Folks,

I am trying to connect my Qlikview server machine to Oracle using OLEDB connector but I am getting the attached error.

installed oracle version: oracle client 11g home1.

Quick response would be highly appreciable.

Hi Farhan,

Your Oracle client is of an older version 7.x

The Oracle database you are connecting is of higher version.

For this reason you get this error.

You will have to install the latest client.

In the worst case you can try to make an ODBC connection.

My installed oracle client is 11g R2(11.2.0),the connecting database is also 11g R2.

While creating the connection string what are the selections you are making? Can you paste the connection string here masking the credentials.

Problem solved. I was wrong marking force 32 bit at QLIKVIEW.
