Distribution to local groups?

Is it only me or does anyone else need the function to distribute to Local Groups?

Hi Björn,

If you have a DSC configured to read from your local directory, Publisher should distribute just fine. Is that not working to you? Do you mean you want to distribute from a domain account running Publisher to local groups?

Hi Miguel

Yes, I would like to distribute from a domain account Publisher to local groups containing domain logins. I'm able to add the group to a published document, but they are not able to see the document. Unless I add all the users separately. When reading the documentation later I could understand that this was just supported to AD groups.

Hi,

This is possible. Just add the domain users to the local group and give access to the group thorugh QMC. Make sure your location Dir is configured in QMC.

Hi, thank you. Yes, it's possible, I have done it. But it doesn't work. When choosing the local group as target for published document in a task, I get no error messages. But no user in that group can access the published document. Only solution I found was to add user by user instead...
