Hi,
Our Qlikview Server is configured with dedicated domain user for it. Now we want to create separate interface for Qlikview AccessPoint so that client/user can see only those .qvw files which are under their domain.
How can we impose such restriction? Is it necessary to create domain user every time? How can we manage .qvw files implementing such restrictions?
Please, guide us for the same.
Thanks in advance.
Create a folder for each domain and put the documents for the domain in the folder for that domain. Set the NTFS permissions so users from a domain can only read the documents in the folder for that domain. Add the folders as mounted folders in the QMC. The users should now only see the documents of their own domain in the access point.
With one single server you could have only one access point which could be customize but not different for various users. The visibility and the access to certain apps will be controlled through permissions within the windows file-system (by using NTFS) or per settings in the QEMC (by using DMS).

You can also use Section Access to filter the documents for each user.
But maybe is easier to set up the two directories and set the security for the folders (as Gysbert suggested) using two AD groups, one fore each domain user group.
Thank you all for responding, We have started working on the same line of your suggested answers. Specially we are considering answer of gwassenaar.
We have created users under Administrator user so each user is having separate folder in which we can put .qvw files.
We are thinking of a structure in which Qlikview Server user - in our case (the one which is having administrative rights) should see all files under each users which we have created for separating AccessPoint access and the individual AccessPoint user is allowed to access the files which are under its user folder.
So, is it possible to create such structure?
