Can you delete the bookmarks and create it again.

I've found an update for the ipad app lastweek and just works fine! Try to update your ipad app and try again, ok?

Hello,

I have just update with the latest ipad app but I have the same issue.

Also I noted the ipad keyboard sometimes doesn't appear to enter username/password for qlikview user.

I tried to delete the section access and it works fine !

Why ?

Can anyone explain me what's the expected behaviour ?

Many Thanks.

Best regards

Andrea

Hi,

no, does not work.

Since I've deleted the bookmarks I cannot open the document via iPad-app.

I took a copy of if, renamed it, and and the same prob as before.

Hi,

I did already the Update to 1.2.1 but it doesn't work.

Yes, I had the same problem as discribed, with the disappearing keybord and so on.

I don't know why, but it seems offline mode does not to work with section access.

The bookmark within the app is like a "screen shot" which is done by the server. As you know, for reload purpose, the server uses the credentials of an admin, so you will get the "screen shot" in admin view, ignoring the authenticate user.

(This was my expirience.)

But in a way it is logical, section access works like :

Step1:

get all possible Data

Step2:

get all Section Access Users

Step 3:

Authenticate User

Step 4:

hide everything what the authenticated user is not allowed to see.

For this you would need a direct connection to the server or a local desktop client, which can calculate and render the graphs, but the iPad-app is just more like a "Snap Shot Viewer" or better "Bookmark-Viewer", if you work offline.

So, no chance for section access and offline mode. You will have to create a single document for each user/ group, or you buy a publisher, which will split you the files automatically.

If somebody knows a trick to get it running, without publisher and a working Section Access in offline mode, please let me know!
