report visiblity behaviour using robocopy

Hi All,

We are using robocopy functionality for distribution of some of the reports.

After upgradation of Qlikview 11.2 SR3, we have found sometimes, reports is not visible in Accesspoint for some users without doing any modification. We have checked user’s name is available in section access as well as in security group of distributed report.

*User is having access and he is able to see the report but suddenly some of the day he can not see the report.

Workaround for some users:

As meta file wont update while distribution of report using robocopy. So we have updated metafile using publisher and redistributed report then it is visible. But some of the users this workaround also did not help.

Please provide your suggestion ?

Thanks in advance!!

I would really verify that the user don´t see documents after distribution with Publisher and verify this with checking if meta file really has been updated. If it has, I would report it to QlikView support.

What security authorization method are you using NTFS or DMS?

Also, I'm curious why you are using robocopy if you have Publisher.
