RAM USAGE?? Slow applications on webserver....

Hello Evryone,

We have windows 2008 r2 server a dedicated one,

64 gb ram  but the applications seems to be slow on web server what may be the reason please suggest,

we have 5 qvw documents  which are of following size 1.09 gb ,362 mb, 452 mb,247 mb ,348 mb...

what may be the reasons help/suggest...

There will be multiple reason.. like complicated expressions, complicated table structure.. etc

You have to monitor CPU usage and RAM usage..

and Use Governance dashboard to monitor quality of application build...

May be rohit..

But my suggestion..

When no user connected.. Stop your qlikview server service.

and open qv.exe

now you open your first file.. now see the changes in task manager.. (RAM and CPU utilized by QV.exe)

then close the first file and open 2nd file and check once again.. like this you have to study for all files...

like this you can find the ram and CPU usage by each file.. This help you to do optimization..

Or you can use "Governance Dashboard" or use HIC's memory statistic recipie
