drop down when clicking on box

how can i get a drop down list (like in a web site) when clicking on a menu tab (say a text box). do you have any example on this?

yes, something like this. The only problem is, the drop-down shall be like a list value, i.e., the user shall be able to select two or more options. Here this is not the case.

problably, i need the previous proposal to hide and display a list box
