Disable access during distribution jobs?

Does anyone have or know a way to turn off access point during distributions? The scenario we are running into is we have a nightly run which distributes docs. If someone logs into QlikView Access point during the dist jobs, the jobs fail.

I would like to set up a time where no one can access the server and than once that time period has past, let say 1-3 am, any one can log back in..

What version of publisher are you running. I have never seen this problem and see no reason for it to happen. You could run a command task before and after the job using the net stop and net start to stop the accesspoint service.
