Qlikview Server on VMWare

Hi All,

I've seen a couple of forum questions and discussion on this matter. Most people advised not to run Qlikview

on virtual machine in a production environment.

May i know what will be the issue if i run production environment? I read that there might be a performance issue but

what are the things that may cause performance issue ?

Thanks a lot! Any replies are appreciated.

Memory ballooning mechanisms, memory sharing between multiple guest systems, paging of inactive memory, virtual disk files causing overhead and other parameters are amongst the things that I would suggest to be probable causes for caution when virtualising Qlikview.
