Setting slider to a value instead of zero through a variable

Hello,

Rebate % calculated is 2.63%. I am trying to build what-if analysis to see what happens to margins which i increase or decrease rebate %.

To do this, i have used a slider and associated the slider to a variable. instead of assigning 0 value to the variable, i would like assign 2.63%.

if i assign the rebate % formula in variable editor, the value is not retained when i change the slider

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Vishal

Thanks Rebecca and Venkat.

Instead you setting variable value to constant, i have set the variable to rebate % calculation and it started behaving dynamically.

Cheers!

Hi Venkat,

my rebate would not be 2.63% constantly. it would change based on selection and the slide should automatically adjust to the value.

Thanks,

Vishal

Can you try to paste the formula  that you are using to calculate your rebate

You can use an action to reset the variable if that's what you are looking for.  Take a look at the attached document and see if it's what you are looking for.
