How to calculate food print QlikView application

Hello everyone,

I need to calculate how much Internal menory a Server may need when he is going to work with a QV application I developed.

It is an app with a lot off data.

Can somebody explain me what to footprint of a QlikView app is?

Because from that point I can calculate.

Is the footprint

- How much the size of the app is on disk?

- How much the size of the app is when it is just loaded into memory when I openend it through accesspoint?

- How much the size of the app is when it is loaded into memory and I you made a lot of selections so the size of the app in memory did grow?

Thx for your reply.

I cannot find out which size I should use.

The size on disk of my file is 7 GB

If i open the app for the first in the accesspoint without any selections the size is 7.5 GB

When I make a lot of selections then the size can go op to 13 GB.

So what is the size that U should use as a footprint?
