On accesspoint preview images are disabled?

Hi ,

I have like 5 applications installed on the qlikview server.

all the 4 are displaying their preview images  except one dashboard displays as  No preview available.

dis someone experience this type of issue and how should this be resolved.

Michael,

This was designed before the Thumbnails were used in the accesspoint. So, they did change it being they were pushing using Batch mode to do the reloads. When you use Batch mode it will keep the Image that was orginally saved with the document. If you need information on doing batch mode let me know. There are more options you can do with this that just running qv.exe.

Thanks for your response.  If you can provide some additional options that would be great as currently we are using windows scheduler to run the .BAT file, which each only runs 1 qv file.

Hi Michael,

The version 10 Server reference manual has the best information on it, so I have attached a PDF that show what is in the manual.

The command would look something like this.

"C:\Program Files\QlikView\Distribution Service\QVDistributionService.exe" -r= C:\Documents\Presidents.qvw

This will keep the image if there is one already there.
