Can I use my QV license on both my laptop and desktop?

Dear all,

I have some questions regarding the usage of my local client QV license. Can I use it on both my laptop and desktop without any problems? And can I use QV on multiple user accounts within my desktop?

Any relevant information would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Bob

Hi,

As far as I know you can use a named user call at two different devices simultaneously.

I do it all the time.

Gerrit

Hi

a licence is allocated to 1 user (you may understand user = computer)

according to the licence you are allowed to open 1 or many documents.

If you own a Named CAL you can use it on your computer and connect as well to the access point from any computer but you can't use the licence on 2 computers.

Correct. You can use a local client license (or server-based Named User CAL that has been leased to a QlikView Desktop instance) on 2 machines.

Yes, you can use your license in 2 different machines.

HI Gerrit,

i'm not telling you can't do it (because technically you can do it on several computers not connected simultaneously) BUT do you have official right to use the same licence on 2 computers?

If so, i'm learning something
