Random System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005)

Hi All

Since upgrade to QV 11 SP1, we have suffered sporadic errors from the QlikView Management Service which can be solved by a bounce of the Server Service.  The QEMC shows that the server has failed.  Previously, the QV9 installation was very solid ... no hint of a problem.

Initially, I can see this in the event log ...

System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

... followed by numerous error like this

I am going to schedule an upgrade to SP2 regardless and will request QVW and QVD files are excluded from the McAfee sweep plus I can also schedule a bounce of the server at a quiet time but has anyone seen this behavior?

regards

Ian
